What is Relay For life?

What is Relay for Life?

"Relay for life is a festival" -Danny Srole, ACS MVP

Relay For Life at UCLA is a 24-hour fundraising event on Drake Stadium dedicated to celebrating, remembering, and fighting back against this disease that has taken too much. We join together as a community to dedicate an entire day towards fighting cancer. Since cancer never sleeps, there is always one participant walking around the track for all 24 hours to symbolize that we will not stop fighting until cancer is defeated.

Throughout the day at Relay For Life, there are games, dance performances, singers, field activities, movies, food, and so much more!  A few of our fan favorite events include the Mr. Relay pageant, water balloon toss, silent disco, and the 5K race. Even though Relay For Life 2021 will be virtual, we will still capture the spirit of a 24 hour event by making all your favorite Relay events virtual!

This year, we will come together as a community to fight back against cancer. Join us in this year’s Relay For Life at UCLA and help us get one step closer to a cure!
